Emma Clayton Jones

Emma is an interdisciplinary and solutions-oriented communicator with a background in investigative and community-engaged journalism. She is currently completing a masters degree in urban planning at the University of Toronto, specializing in social planning and policy.

She has reported for outlets including the CBC, The Globe and Mail, CANADALAND and Canadian Journalists for Free Expression. Most recently, she spent over two years covering gender issues for The Discourse, a Vancouver-based media organization dedicated to tackling complex systemic issues through collaborative storytelling.

Emma helps us share stories and lessons that inspire city builders to make their cities happier, healthier and more inclusive.
